Two agencies have recommended Magento, the third ExpressionEngine. Our company currently uses Magento for an e-commerce site. However, this new project will not be for an ecommerce site. EE seems like the right choice to me. What are the differences between EE and Magento? BTW, you can probably tell by this question that I'm just a lowly marketer looking for technical help. Keep it simple, if you wouldn't mind. Thanks!

Re: Magento: Display Categories in Sidebar

otha punda tamil,engishla pasuda

Re: CMS Rivalry: WordPress vs Drupal vs ExpressionEngine

Thanks again for your awesome feedback!

Re: CMS Rivalry: WordPress vs Drupal vs ExpressionEngine

Good article indeed! Thanks for sharing. I posted some initial thoughts on your article, but for my readers here, I'll reiterate:

Statamic is a pretty awesome and minimalistic approach to a CMS. I can see the appeal for developers, and I would even use it as a viable alternative for managing my own personal blogs like this site. However, comparing Statamic to Wordpress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, etc, is comparing apples to oranges.

Statamic avoids a lot of the crap that comes with WP and the like, but the reason why WP remains one of the most popular systems is due to the demand by consumers, not developers. So until products like Statamic have hundreds of plugins, devs, resources, etc behind it, meeting the majority of demands by consumers, it won't be a viable alternative.. unless you, devs, can do some convincing with your clients.

Re: CMS Rivalry: WordPress vs Drupal vs ExpressionEngine

Great post.
